Our mission is to provide safety, shelter and support to men, women and youth affected by substance abuse, mental illness, homelessness and domestic violence.
At Life Changes, Inc., our top priority and goal is the improvement of the community in which we reside. Years of experience have taught us that all it takes is one small change to make a big impact. Learn more about the causes we’re passionate about, such as our services for women, our mentoring moms programs, support for the men we serve or our passion about youth in transition. Life Changes offers a transitional sober living program for women who desire comprehensive recovery support after primary treatment. Our three beautiful homes provide the best place to continue your personal growth and work toward independence.
The staff at Life Changes homes are dedicated to this vision for each individual woman by affording her a nurturing and compassionate transitional sober living community based on honesty, accountability, responsibility, and the principles of the 12 steps.
Our team is focused on helping women build a foundation of sobriety, have a sense of community, learn life skills, help nurture growth and development in addiction recovery and to ultimately become the women, mothers and community members they were created to be.
Our sober living homes for men provide support and guidance to men in recovery from alcoholism or addiction. Life Changes offers two residential homes to transition them back into their lives, families and the community. There are specific standards in place which serve to protect the facility as a whole and the integrity of each individual resident.
Each home is staffed by a live in house manager who is knowledgeable about the obstacles these men face as they embrace the recovery journey. In the Life Changes sober living home for men, residents are taught basic life skills such as cooking, time management, employability skills and basic home cleanliness.
Our team is focused on helping men build a strong foundation of recovery, become fathers, spouses and employees they can be proud to be, and attain long term recovery.
The Life Changes Youth Impact program provides youth, ages 18-24, with a safe and sober place to lay their head at the end of the day. The majority of these young adults have struggled to recover from an addictive disorder and to understand their value.
Participants of our Youth Impact component are typically homeless, aged out of foster care, or justice involved youth. Many of them have transitioned from foster home, to reluctant family member and back to foster care most of their lives. At Life Changes our goal is to break through their very real distrust of the world around them and provide them with caring adults who can, will and do believe in their limitless potential.
The dedicated Life Changes team provides life skills and resources to empower these young adults to become independent, productive adults.
So many of the Life Changes women regain custody of their children or give birth to healthy children because of the life changing services they receive in our sober living homes. Regaining custody of their children or giving birth to a new born is life changing to any woman, but for this population, it is often a scary and confusing time.
To provide ongoing support for these women, Life Changes embraced the national Mentoring Moms movement and now provides the support and structure these moms need as they transition out of the supportive environment found at Life Changes.
